STUDENT COUNCIL – Two students are elected from Level 2 and, 3 and four students from Level 4 to serve as representatives to the student council. The entire student council votes for the president of the student council from among the 8th-grade representatives. SAFETY PATROL – Students in Level 4 may volunteer to serve as members of the Safety Patrol. These students help to walk preschoolers into Jackson Hall between 8:00 AM and 8:10 AM and at dismissal. They also put the cones away. The Level 4 teacher is the sponsor of the Safety Patrol.

ANNUAL CLASS TRIPS – Field trips that reinforce the curriculum are encouraged.  Level 4 takes an alternating schedule of trips of Sea Camp and Space Camp to enrich their course work and to Washington D.C. as part of their American History studies. Other trips for students of various levels include visits to Actor’s Playhouse, Broward Civic Center, the Historical Museum, Planetarium, and the Science Museum at Viscaya in Miami.
